ONOMATOPOEIA

With David Ward on guitar, Isaac Smith on Double Bass and Ian Downer on Drums, this improvising trio traverses a wide gamut of musical styles, without being beholden to any. Their sets contain original compositions for improvisation, which they perform with energy, spontaneity and humour.They have recently played at venues such as Happy, The Lido,The Matterhorn, the "Monster Cuba Carnival After Party" at Tupelo, Te Papa, Frank Kitts Park, Jackson St Fiesta 07, The Wunderbar as well as performing in the 10th Wellington International Jazz Festival.
