How did you become whatever you are?
"Necromanette is my name and I dwell in Magentbox. I have existed hidden in the room of a girl, for about 20 some odd years. I have always been her favorite even though she hasnâ€™t seen me for years. She thought she lost me, but I was hiding. I chose to hide because I knew she would need me later. Sheâ€™s a really good girl who people tend to mistreat. I have collected dust...amongst other things.
Over the years I've heard every cry and collected every teardrop. Every unanswered prayer, each repressed emotion, I was there. I steal them and I keep them inside my home, a small magenta box. Here in Magentbox I deal with the loathsome qualities of mankind that have driven us both misanthropes. Sheâ€™s pretty fragile whereas I am not. The pain of the world hurts her so greatly the only outlet is to bleed the pain from the inside out. Broken promises, lies, inconsideration, selfishness, jealousy, heartache, and pain all flow through my veins. When I cannot take the agony anymore I bend the brackets, sharpen the blades, and bleed forth.
She cries for the both of us...I bleed for the both of us. I have died for her many times and I will continue to do so until one day far from now, she joins me where mortal pain does not exist. Only when the shiny cold metal separates my so-called flesh can the healing begin. After the gale, I suture the wounds and it begins, all over again...."

There's also a sizeable portion of the goth scene called "Lolita". We're the rejects. We're cute, we're sexy, we're dirty, trash talking bitches. We're demure, we're pretty, and you can't take your eyes off of us.
There are many other reasons, but they are best left unsaid.

Dress Code
Dress as you please, but please cover the nipples (if female) and genitals. For the Dollhouse Massacre, although blood and doll attire is not mandatory, you are strongly encouraged to come in some form of zombie, doll or dead doll costume or related (e.g. Lolita, zombie master, etc.).
Again, dress code is not enforced beyond covering up certain areas.

Hours and cover
Mephisto's is open most weeks from Wednesday through Saturday, 9pm-2am.
Cover varies from $3 on Wednesday (great drink specials) and ordinary nights (except Thursday when it's $5) to up $7 or more when special events are going on. Mephisto's is open to hosting private parties.
The cover for the dollhouse massacre is $10.
