The Strives

Having their roots in the punk scene but also being influenced by bands like Gameface, Jimmy Eat World and The Get up Kids, Manuel and Christian thought it would be time for another project. In summer 2006, after having rehearsed for just 1 time, they went to the studio to record a 6 track demo within 2 days and decided to call the project “The Strives”. Soon after that they played two shows which showed them they were on the right track. Unfortunately Christian, Christina and Albert were busy working with La Par Force so the project was forced to stand idle. Now, in 2007, Christian is still working with La Par Force and Manuel with Red Tape Parade but nevertheless a lot of new songs have been written and besides we resumed to rehearse.
