Dan Massada

Dan Massada aka Dani Valdes, Dj/Producer was born in the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. Ever since his teenage years, he has been specially attracted to music. At 13, he got a hold of a mixer, two turntables and a used open reel tape deck recorder. This way, indefatigably, he got to perfect his technique in all concepts which a brilliant deejay should embrace. During the following two years, he managed to have his remixes played on the most important nation-wide dance music radio programs of those times. Thanks to these many experiences, he started his professional life as a resident Deejay at Drink´s (Sant Feliu de Llobregat) when he was only 15 years of age. Since then his career has gone upwards playing in the most acclaimed clubs around Barcelona: Pachito Bcn (PACHA GROUP), Seven, Nayandei, Universal, Búcaro, Fibra Óptica, Atlántida (Sitges), etc. During the summer of 2004 he joined the team of resident Dj´s at EL.TWO (Barcelona/Tarragona).
His background spans more than 40 discs in the market, ranging between his own productions and those for other artists. In 1994 he published his first Maxi-Single, and in combination with Dance, Dance-Pop and House styles, he has since composed and produced endless discs. The most important ones are: OPTIK-“Ladies & Gentleman”*, KING SIZE- “I´ll Keep”*,CUT TRACK-“I Want You”*, SWEET DROP-“Noise”*, GARRY-“It´s Hot”**, DAN MASSADA-“Here I Go”, DABHAMAR Feat. Toni Hernandez "Sweet night" (Dan Massada Rmx), etc. Thanks to “Here I go”, Dan Massada aka Dani Valdés crosses all European borders, reaches The US and consolidates himself as one of the key artists of the prestigious Water Music Records (USA, Los Angeles), and enters “The Best Dance Album Ever” compilation, along with INAYA DAY, ERASURE, KATE RYAN, CANDEE JAY, etc…
At his current stage, his musical maturity makes it possible for him to compose and produce for different projects and groups as well as to experiment with new tendencies like Chill Out, Electro-Pop or Electro-House. He now takes off in the whole world with a remixed “Here I go” led by Sutil Vox.
He is currently working as a Deejay, Producer and Composer in collaboration with Sutil Records as an Assistant A&R and managing the On Line SutilcoffeeShop store.
