Louise Maxwell, born and raised in West London, started off sweeping the floors of the then-aspiring "Toni & Guy". After her maturing years, once fully trained, she became a full-time stylist in "Mahogany", a salon that Louise's mother had opened on Portobello Road, for her mother was a hairdresser, and it soon started to show that the art was in her blood.
But in her mid-twenties Louise Maxwell, felt a need of change, she started working for Virgin Atlantic Airlines, traveled the planet, and gained ambition, inspiration, and acknowledged some of what no one manages in their life. Culturaly advanced, with a new level of wisdom, and the youthful but rapidly increasing skill for make-up art, Louise headed back to the UK to make the most of her artistic talents, and give birth to her first child.
"Haringtons Hairdressers", was where Louise started again, after 13 years of salon hairdressing, building a clientel of "somebodies", and putting "Haringtons" on the map, in 2003 Louise Maxwell finaly got her break and won "Men's British Hairdresser" after being a finalist for 3 consecutive years previously. This was it for Louise she'd done what she came to do, now it was time for change again, after much debating and convincing her 2 children (Son - Harley, Daughter - Sydney), she made the best decision of her life, she moved to the white island of IBIZA.
Here was where Louise's credibility as a hair and make-up artist spawned greater and greater, starting with a monthly article in the local magazine "The Ibiza NOW", she began to build a reputation on the island, soon came a clientel of celebrities, and she felt a new spark burst into flames inside her, soon she had become the Official Ibiza Rocks hair and make-up artist, had done the Jezebel Jewelry summer 2007 photo shoot, PACHA magazine, and styled Jade Jagger for a 5-page-spread and cover of Spanish VOGUE. These being a handful of the projects Louise has taken on, much much more of her work is anticipated by the fashion industry. Keep a look out in 2008!
