I love acting, stage fighting (martial arts, street, swords, knifes, axes, spears, anything I can get my hands on), boxing, swimming (I used to compete when I was younger), singing, dance, going to the theatre/cinema, canoeing, mountain climbing
Peter Jackson, Steven Spielburg, Ridley Scott, Micheal Mann, Oliver Stone, Jeremy Bruckheimer, Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Anthony Hopkins, David Jason, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Christain Bale, Owen Wilson, Will Ferell, Kirsten Dunst, Nicole Kidman, Julia Stiles, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Sean Bean, Ewan McGregor, Mel Gibson, Oliver Reed, Laurence Olivier...
I'm quite flexible when it comes to music, I never really buy albums becuase I never like all the songs on them. I enjoy listening to movie soundtracks and musicals - music that tells a story. Plus I like some good club sounds when I'm in the mood, check out my mate's page below.
I'm a bit of a sucker for the historical action films like Gladiator, Troy, Robin Hood. I also like a good fantasy/Sci Fi - Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Alien Trilogy (the last one doesn't really count). But up at the top has to be The Empire of the Sun. Not many people know it, but it was directed by Spielburg and starred a young Christain Bale and the first time I watched it I was about the same age. It's probably the only film that can still bring a tear to my eye.
I don't really watch much TV, simply because I'm aways doing something else and my schedules are never the same so I can't get into anything. I did like Lost, until I started missing episodes and then I got lost.
Like with TV I'm not very good at maintaining my attention on a book (not including plays - it's my job to read them). Not that I'm illiterate, or thick, or anything. I just start something and then forget about it - I've got a shelf full of unfinished books. Saying that, the most recent book I read cover to cover (and this is about 6 years ago) was Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. It's an amazing book about a tunneler during world war one and I highly recommend it.
