About Me

UK’s own, Peter Hepworth, more than qualifies as talented singer/songwriter with the tune, "Lady Jane."
Co-written by Hepworth and Si West (who also recorded and produced the song), Lady Jane, is about a character with an unbreakable love for life. You know the kind. Even in a world of negatives, there are those few people out there that simply think life is the greatest, love is the answer to everything, and we should enjoy every minute of life’s up and down ride. That’s who Lady Jane is, and Hepworth performs the story of his unexpected, uplifting journey with her well in this upbeat, folky ballad.
Hepworth’s pleasant, identifiable vocals, with a subtle British accent, are delivered in a way that makes you feel as if he’s sitting in front of you playing this song. His guitar picking is strong, and when the band and harmonies kick in, it adds an effective element to a song that could just as easily be performed by Hepworth himself and his guitar. When you can strip a song down to its core, and it still holds its own, you know you’ve got a well-written piece. That’s what you get with Lady Jane.
Currently, it appears as if Hepworth is working on a new EP. Keep checking back with him, as he is a noteworthy talent worthy of your ears’ busy schedule.
