Come on. We all know about the race to get the most friends that occurs on the big sites. People joining friend trains. Putting their friends amount next to their name.That shit means zero!In the scheme of things - the ability to sit around all day collecting more numbers amounts to nothing. Those nameless people in your friends list will not listen to your bulletins because they don't know you exist. It doesn't make you cooler. It doesn't mean a thing to anybody.The true test of social networking is when you build it yourself and with the help of those around you. When you send a friend request on a big site - people simply click - accept or deny. But when you are involved in a website like ComeChill - we're not asking for people to do something as thoughtless as click yes or no. We are asking them to devote their time - start something new - fill out questions. It's wayyyyyyyy more difficult to do than simply send a friend request.So I'll tell you all something. ComeChill is doing pretty damn well and there is nothing that anybody on earth can say about it. Because until the next time they sit down and try to build the next big thing on the web, their opinion means shit.
