About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / For the horde!!!

My Interests

Discovering self, deep spiritual matters, love in all forms, LIFE! all forms of music, except really twangy "she left me, took my dog, and my truck, and i had to shoot my horse" country. can't stand it. hiking, biking, poetry, reading, reading poetry, games (computer, not head games), skating, snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain climbing, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Chill people and eventually God. I have a few questions for that being.

Music:

I love Tool, and have a pretty long list in my iTunes (thanks to Athena partly), actually it's pretty eclectic: classical, classic rock, some oldies (i think), 80's (and i don't mean 80's metal, i mean like b-52s and beastie boys kinda shit), 90's...oh wait, i forgot...the 80's and 90's are considered classic rock now. nope, not to me, classic rock will only be the music from when my dad was in high school. :)

Movies:

The Celestine Prophecy movie, What the Bleep Do We Know, The Secret (haven't seen it all the way through yet), and many, many others. new ones are added to the list almost daily, so there's no use in trying to keep up that list.

Television:

Ah television, thy name brings visions of brain rot and laziness. i can't believe we let the cable man in...oh well, i got my south park back! all i care about. guess i can't complain too much about the national geographic channel added to my regimen of history and discovery channels. there's sometimes some cool stuff on animal planet.

The Sacred Fire: love as a spiritual path

The Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes. This one's probably going to take a year, (if I read a little every day) cause it's so deep.
just finished reading the 7 Harry Potter novels for the first time. it only took about a month and a half. what a roller coaster of action, mystery, suspense, and emotion! if you haven't read them yet, i highly recommend them.
Labyrinth by Kate Mosse
The Alchemyst (the secrets of the immortal nicholas flamel) by Michael Scott. read my 'newest book series' blog.

Heroes:

GOD for one. Maynard James Keenan; Tony Hawk, I met him once and got a signed poster and a picture taken with him. Leslie is a huge inspiration. Anyone who is willing to put themselves aside to do something that actually makes a difference in someone's life.
