Mani

Attended Xaverian College in the Rusholme district of Manchester. At that time my ambition was to be a chef!. Left school aged sixteen in 1979, joined The Stone Roses on bass in 1987. Playing on both of the band's albums, enjoying massive success and praise until we disbanded in 1996, then joined Primal Scream (one of only three bands i'd ever consider joining!). Still going strong in The Scream, just released new album "Riot City Blues" so go out & buy it!!. Currently involved in a project called Freebass with bass players Andy Rourke (ex-The Smiths) and Peter Hook (New Order). I am a massive Man United fan and i regularly appear on "football years" giving my views of football seasons of the past and usually my Manchester Utd passion is often presented on a large scale during the show.
