The Macedonian official clubbing portal has refreshed its look and feel and added a few more features like ClubFM`s resident radio show dedicated to the website`s activities, a new gallery and up-to-date daily information on events.Background: Skopje Clubbing has been up and running for more than seven years. The development of the club culture in Macedonia in the 90s resulted in the need of opening the information to the world and representing the best of breed of local artists and DJs on the internet. It serves its purpose to freely promote the individual artists, club nights, DJs and serve as a one-stop-shop for anything you need to know about electronic music, dance culture, and how to get in touch with promoters and DJs in Macedonia and in the neighboring countries.The original co-founders of the site which launched its first version in 1997 with a party promotion and guest DJs in club Silex were: Dimitar Mitevski who designed the site while in the USA, Ana Bakalinova (aka DJ Ana Banana) responsible for its programming while in London, and late Julia Bojkova (aka DJ Strawberry) who promoted it heavily on radio Kanal 103. Then Kole Vasilevski took over the design and maintenance of the site until 2006.The Future Today: After some years of low-key presence on the internet, Skopje Clubbing decided to expand its team by inviting new members to take over the daily maintenance of the site including working on re-branding the site, starting a radio show on ClubFM every Thursday from 12:00 to 02 am and massively promoting the scene while continuing the brand awareness.A big THANK YOU to our new editor-in-chief, Goran ind.o.g, to Kate Miss Flooder for presenting such a great show Club FM, to Goce for developing a new tech solution (still in progress so watch this space!) and to Nextsense for their dedication and patience and giving us as much support as needed.And of course, thank you to all our supporters DJ Vaso, DJ monumental, Machki, Packi, Vidinovski, Bazel, Fluid, Alek, Flooder.You can contact the team on our Contact us page.
