THE RED LIGHTS ARE NO MORE!
yup, after nearly 2 years, we've decided to call it a day due to a lack of progression and organisation
thanks to everyone who has came to our gigs, who has helped us out with equipment, who has supported us in any way possible
this site is gonna stay up, with all the same info as it always had
We're gonna do one last gig for y'all, just to say farewell properly and end it on a high note, more details will be posted when we have them. We want it to be the best gig we ever play though, so bring everyone you know along
The Red Lights were formed in early October 2004, when Natalie wanted to form a band. She knew Coxy from school, so asked him whether he would be the drummer...so he agreed.
Later on in the winter months the search was on for a bassist, and due to the lack of good bassists around Coxy asked former bandmate Kev Pierce whether he wanted the job. After a few jam sessions at the locally reknowned 'fused' practices he agreed, and The Red Lights were born.
The Red Lights were originally called Envy, however this was changed a few months in, as it was agreed it sounded like one of those cheesy club bands(!). The new name came about when Natalie suggested that they needed to put more stops in the songs, to which Kev replied 'we might as well call ourselves The Red Lights, all we do is stop!'...and the new name was born.
The band are currently writing many tunes of many different genres, and on the lookout for as many gigs as possible. Check this band out and you will be impressed...
