Love music (a whole lotta stuff below...); the chicksta... (haha!!); football (Manchester United fan, and on the international scene... Italia- WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 20-Zero-6!!!!), also loved swimming and ice skating, was pretty good at Triple Jump, and have a winners' medal for 4*100m relay from my school years!!; fashion; partying (Revolution's a bit of a second home, Love it in there!!!!); chattin'; chillin'; meeting decent people; hitting the shops!!; leisure centre sessions; European history, culture, languages, etc. (mainly French & Italian, but others, too); photography, pictures, details and all sorts; concerts, film & theatre (NOT panto-that's just... pants!!); reading; travelling; computer games... Lots more interests, but never get much time, anyway- always worked crazy hours, and social life, etc. is pretty much in the toilet right about now.
I've already been fortunate enough to meet my favourite band. Twice!! Still hear from them every now and then, too, which is more than cool. Sure, there are more, I can think of a few, but I don't fancy my chances. We'll see...I'm not on here "to be just another addition to people's friendwhore collections" or to "try it on with all the t!ts & a$$", so please- no requests if there's no intention of getting in touch, or acknowledging my existence. THAT is just insulting, and a waste of precious time- both of ours!! If I accept anybody, they would be embraced as mates, in some cases, even friends (or because I thought the bands, DJs, etc. were cool!!). Not saying that I'm oh so special or better than everybody else, but friendship is something I value lots and lots, both male and female ones, whether in person, online, or as someone I share common interests with. I hope that those among my list can say the same about me, too...
Who I WOULDN'T Like to Meet
Online Predatoresses- If your page is full of 6-Pack-Man-Sluts, or you're on here "to find some dark chocolate", then don't bother, because I won't accept your requests.People who write EVERYTHING in text language/street talk- I hate it, and I find it an eyesore to read.Don't bother if you don't have a picture- that freaks me out. There's more to come on this list, but I'll sort that out another time.(Hell, that's most of myspace!! Damn...)
FF7 Pictures (Because It's Cool...)
Concert & Afterparty (Feb 2002 & Sept 2005)
Thank You For Visiting...
House, Funk, Disco, (Acid) Jazz, Hip-hop (Not "Urrrrrgggh-ban" (That's just another name for "black pop" or "generic RnB soulless drivel", or the "ho this, bitch that" stuff). Rant Over. As We Were...), Soul, Indie/Rock, and a hint of pop (but not cheese!!). Quite a varied taste. Huge fan of Jamiroquai, they're my favourite band... Return Of The Space Cowboy and Emergency On Planet Earth are my all-time fave albums, both are musically and lyrically superb, lovin' everything after that, too!! Other stuff in the collection includes: Red Hot Chili Peppers (Blood Sugar Sex Magik, One Hot Minute, Californication); U2; Pearl Jam (Ten- Stone Cold Classic!!); Radiohead (Brilliant); Stone Roses (both albums were cool); Doves (what a top band!!); Coldplay; The Strokes; The Music; Incubus; Morcheeba; Brand New Heavies; Daft Punk (Homework, Discovery- for different reasons); Basement Jaxx (consistently good stuff, for a mainstream dance act); Chemical Brothers (Dig Your Own Hole, Surrender, got the rest, but prefer these 2); Scissor Sisters; The Avalanches- Since I Left You (Fuckin' Top!!); Zero 7 (Simple Things); Royksopp ("Poor Leno" was cool, the Jakatta mix rocked!!); Air; Groove Armada; Dubtribe Sound System ("Autosoul" (Rasmus Faber Club Mix) is just brilliant, totally fell in love with that track!!); Massive Attack (Mezzanine); Crazy P; Cassius; Goldfrapp; Justice; The Roots; Erykah Badu; Jill Scott (Who Is? is a class album); India Arie; Alicia Keys; Tweet; Miss E (So Addictive, Da Real World, Under Construction); Beverley Knight; Ivana Santilli; MJ (too many to mention); Maxwell; Van Hunt; Musiq; Beck; Sandy Rivera; Junior Jack; Roger Sanchez; Erick Morillo (Quality live DJ, got to shake his hand once!!); Knee Deep; Joey Negro; Masters At Work; Dimitri From Paris; Copyright; The Sunburst Band; Reel People; ATFC; Raul Rincon; Seamus Haji; Rasmus Faber; Bob Sinclar; Axwell; Grant Nelson; Full Intention; Bini & Martini; Ian Carey; Martin Solveig; Audiowhores; One Foot In The Groove; Mark Knight & Martijn Ten Velden; Soul Avengerz; Hedkandi, Defected & some Subliminal Records; Plenty of older stuff (60s, 70s, etc.). That'll do for now, but there's a whole host of others...
I haven't seen anywhere near as many films as I would like to!! Damn annoying crazy hours...
Just like films, I never have the chance to watch much TV!! Yeah, there is a bit of a theme here...
I read lots of stuff, couldn't choose just the one fave. Can be anything, fact and fiction, real-life stories, the "book" version of a film, poetry, magazines, continental literature... Even looking at pictures!! (When I find a moment, I will explain that in my blogspace...). Also, I write from time to time, which kinda explains why I remember a whole lotta stuff, and all sorts of occasions.
Plenty of people, all for different reasons...
Some Cool Treasures... xJ
