This Is THE ONE AND ONLY Southwell Gardens Fan Site, I suppose its kinda the official one too because I had permission from Mr James K Houghton (Bassist, Vocalist And Co-founder of Southwell Gardens)
The Story So Far - James and Roger (Guitarist) Have been best friends for many-a-year and they both had a strong interest in music and James was learning the guitar/bass and Roger was already a guitarist so they started to make 'Music' together. The reason why the music are in inverted comma's is because it was far more than simple music, it was 'something else'. They had a long hard time finding a drummer, they even resorted to asking me but i didn't have the resources, just as they were giving up, and angel from above fell down and rocked the world. Yes we are talking about drum god NEIL DODD!!
From that moment on James Houghton, Roger Goetze and Neil Dodd formed "Sid Sideboard And The Two Chairs"
They played there first gig under this name but then they decided the people of the world needed to take them more seriously so the name was changed to Southwell Gardens and since they have taken the world by storm with their 2 tracks - Twist and the Unforgettable Save The Trees...
