Battery Park

"I fought my way back, just to be here again..."

About Me

During the course of the last couple of years, Battery Park has achieved a great deal of success. Their song, "Tell Me" was featured on a segment of VH1's ROCK ACROSS AMERICA in June of 2001. Later that summer, they won the Jim Beam Unsigned Band Northwest Regional competition at the Hard Rock Café (Denver) and competed at the National Finals with only 4 other bands from the entire U.S. at the Gothic Theatre. Since then, Battery Park has continued to gain a reputation as a great live act and played several high profile benefit shows, opened for serveral national acts and recorded and released an their first full-length album, "Scattered Pictures". More recent gigs have led to an opening slot for National Recording artists' "Ingram Hill" and gigs at Invesco Field, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and some of the top clubs in the Denver Metro area. Please check out our on-line press kit @ www.sonicbids.com/batterypark or on myspace at www.myspace.com/batteryparkBattery Park is currently playing out as often as they can and enjoying the music that they create together. "My favorite time is being on stage, surrounded by the rest of the guys, and watching the audience react to the things we're doing togetherit's amazing." says j.
