Music:

This music video is from the album Going Way Out with Heavy Trash and co-directed by Protoplasman artist Mort Todd and I like it because singer Jon Spencer gets as stretchy as I do!

I like a wide variety of music, but one of my favorite performers is SPIKE JONES (not the video director who stole his name). Did you know music videos were made in the 1940s (though it was on film)? The following video "Clink Clink Another Drink" played on jukeboxs with small movie screens and features a solo by the Man of 1000 Voices, MEL BLANC, who did just about every cartoon voice at Warner Brothers Cartoons from Bugs Bunny to Pepe LePew! It turns into a singalong at the end with lyrics!

Later, in the 1950s on his own TV show, Spike had a BATTLE OF THE BANDS with the Mambo King, PEREZ PRADO with the song "Secret Love." It also features that giant talent BILLY BARTY and the ending shows why Spike was the ORIGINAL PUNK ROCKER!..
Here's a WWII great song by BETTY HUTTON about her "Doing it for Defense!" Wait'll you see the hilarious stunts as she sings in a bouncing jeep!
