About Me

It's not about me. It's about Chuck. Well, okay, first I would like to start off by saying my name is Collin...but enough about me, let's get back to Chuck. Recently, chemists have learned of a new element that has forced them to make the first revision to the Periodic Table of Elements in years. It turns out, the very thing that makes Chuck Norris uniquely Chuck Norris is, in fact, an unknown and previously undetected element found ONLY in Chuck himself. Indeed, it is THE rarest element found anywhere in the universe. The scientists who discovered it have decided to refer to this element as simply, "Chuck". This is what Chuck himself is comprised of. Given his inhuman strength and complete mastery of the martial arts, it comes as little surprise that Chuck is not a carbon-based unit, but rather, a Chuck-based unit. They say that Chuck's fists are so fast that they often break the sound barrier. This comes up as an issue in his films, where they'll have to use a sound edit to allign the timing.

My Interests

My interests mainly pertain to answering this generic query and impressing upon you that I have a diverse bunch of interests and hobbies, their inclusions bearing varying degrees of significance or accuracy, and which will best hide the fact that I got no life!

I'd like to meet:

I have so many hangups, quirks and faults as a person that are so detrimental to building strong and lasting friendships with people that I don't kid myself anymore. Ideally, whatever, nothing's ideal so I guess we'll see. Most have come and gone. Some current ones I hope will stick around. For all the friends I've lost, I value their memory, each one for the unique life lessons but honestly, all the wisdom in the world doesn't do shit for the empty feeling in my stomach. I prefer the company of people who are compassionate, have something to offer, have a crazy or odd sense of humor, have a way with words, are creative, artsy and craftsy, and have a TON of money, I mean, just LOADED! I wish I could find people who were interested in my opinions, who wanted to hear what I've heard and hear, see what I've seen, someone who thinks my artwork is amusing, my quirks are tolerable, my faults are forgiveable.

Television:

I found Hell's Kitchen amusing. That's tough, man/woman/wombat. You try it and tell me it's easy. MythBusters is kind of interesting; then again, so am I. Mad Men and Sopranos are shows you can't go wrong with. I like Jeopardy, and stuff on Comedy Central but I could live without it, and mostly do. Discovery, wildlife stations are usually cool, The History Channel should be better than it is. Sex and the City is usually decent, unlike me, who iz a crude, rude, brooding dude.

Books:

I know who wrote the book of love. It was an idiot. It was a fool. A slobbering fool with a speech defect and a shaking hand, and he wrote my name next to yours, but it should have been David Byrne or somebody.

Heroes:

Those who have had the greatest impact on my life. It's easy to figure out who those people are. Some of them want nothing to do with me, can't stand me, think I'm scum, wish I would disappear for a very long time, maybe my very presence they find offensive, etc. This makes me very sad because I will always love them. My parents. Certain Red Rose drivers, who make a living bailing out fuckers like me every day. Lynda Carter, Manute Bol. Here's another for you: animal lovers and activists, particularly ones who take in abused or neglected animals and manage to make them feel loved and wanted. Those kinds of people should be ANYONE'S hero, really. Noble. Magnanimous. And my dog-friend Polly, because she's a courageous animal who has fought death and survived to tell the tale (in barks)
