I have been involved in music for around 15 years in one aspect or another. I started off playing keyboard and piano for various different projects (sessions, concerts etc). I finished my grade 8 with London College of music in 1998. I then decided to take a different angle on my musical career starting a new project recording, writing and performing. The project had varying degrees of success with the high points being playing at Leeds Town and Country club in front a capacity audience of around 2,500 people and filming a music video with ITV.
I then started recording demos for local bands in 2000 engineering in local studios and occasionally at my own studio set up. In 2002 I had a track I produced at my own studio for a local band, released through Chromium Records on a compilation CD. This then lead to being offered an assistant engineer job, for a small production company, helping recording their acts. By the end of the year I was co-writing with a few acts that were signed to the production. Whilst doing this I was at university at the School of Acoustics and Electronic Engineering complete a course in Professional Sound and Visual Technology, which helped gaining more experience in running sessions and time management.
I have started to get a name for myself in the local and regional music scene and more freelance work has come along, producing and engineering projects for various different bands and companies such as Atlantic Records, Wit Records, WTFD Records, Lupine Promotions etc.
