Andy Griffin

Hi my name is Andy Griffin, welcome to my myspace page all about me and my music. I have been playing the guitar since I was 12 years old and I'm now 28 and have grow up listening to music of all kinds from Status Quo to Mettalica, Guns n Roses, The Beatles and more recently the likes of The Killers, Ben Folds Five, The Goo Goo Dolls and anything with a good guitar base.I started off heavily influenced by Slash out of Guns n Roses and had to buy a guitar. After teaching myself for many years I soon discovered the Beatles through their influence on such bands as Oasis and Stereophonics. This led me away from my earlier heavy rock influences into a more melodic style of playing. I am currently the songwriter and rhythm guitarist/lead guitarist for a Wigan based band called "ESHER" (check out the profile in bands section of my space @ www......./Esherband). There are a couple of tracks on that page, different to the ones you'll find on here.I have recorded these tracks myself at home and am looking for some feedback and to share ideas and make friends and contacts with other musicians.
