clownprince are no more, due to a lack of commitment
by certain members the band crumbled. all that remains of clownprince is these songs and faded question mark stickers that can still be seen around the wigan area, which were used to promote my web site. the website is also now gone.to be honest i'm glad to see the back of the band, as it caused me nothing but hassle, nurse maiding three other members who left me to fund the venture and manage it virtually alone.the reason i haven't pulled the songs off is that i dont think they are too bad and i would at least like them to be heard somewhere, it's either this or walking round wigan bus station with a tape recorder on every afternoon and to be honest i don't have a tape recorder.i tried my best with the people i had in the band. how we ever played for management compaines, in camden london (dublin castle) and kent (the tap and tin) ill never know.thanks for looking anyway and thank you to anyone who supported us and came to see our gigs, thanks to ted robins to for giving us our 15 mins of fame.im sorry it came to this but, i gave it my best shot it's just a pity that certain others didn't.thanks again
