Songwriter and producer Ayhan Sahin produces music in a wide range of genres, from pop, dance and rock to musical theatre. He has worked with The Beu Sisters, Melba Moore, Phoebe Snow, Sezen Aksu, Sandra Bernhard, Vonzell Solomon (American Idol), Jon Peter Lewis (American Idol), Jill Gioia (Rockstar Supernova), etc.His most recent project is a collaboration with Eve Nelson, producing an album for Karine Hannah singing Turkey's most-acclaimed female singer/songwriter, Sezen Aksu's songs.His music has been performed in his native Turkey, as well as in Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Iceland, Canada and the U.S. He has been featured in the international print press, and on radio and TV. Sahin was raised in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, where he earned a master's degree in civil engineering and worked in the field for a decade before turning his focus full-time to musical arts. He has an MFA degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and lives in New York.
