Singer/songwriter Norm Forrester is a powerful up and comer on the Country music scene and someone to definetly watch out for. Playing venues big and small Norm is quickly building a great fan base.In the spring of 2004 Norm released his self titled debut CD, and received radio airplay from some of Canada's biggest radio stations with his first single "Luckyman". A second single" Somedays" was recently released and
has received great feedback as well. Response to this debut disk was phenomenal. Industry and Fans said it 's a true showcase of Norm's amazing musical abilities. The music is influenced by his background and the lyrics by real life experience, bringing out a colorful blend in his songwriting. This freshman album was produced by Greg Beacock(formerly from The Power Plant in Barrie,ON). Having Greg in on the project allowed Norm to bring in some of Canada's best country studio musicians, starting with Jon Dymond on Bass,Steve OConner on Piano, Doug Johnson on Steel and Dobro, Craig Bignall on Drums, as well as Aaron Solomon on Fiddle and Mandolin.On the stage he is a talented performer as well as an accomplished songwriter. Over the last two years Norm has had the pleasure of playing venues big and small all over Ontario and has been featured on the stage with such great Canadian country talent as Jason McCoy , Julian Austin, The Road Hammers, Aaron Prichett, Gord Bamford, Jason Blaine, Beverly Mahood and Lace. Norm is a proud member of the CCMA and the OCPFA.
With quite an impressive start and very busy schedule, Norm is continually writing new material and has plans to return to the studio to record and complete is second album in the fall of 2006.
