As a kid DJ Gurps, was into his music, from a young age he had said that he wanted to become the best at entertaining a crowd, from the age of 8 he used to attend party’s and was only seen in one place and that was beside the DJ, from there on his friends & family knew that the path he would take would be the one of DJing in front of hundreds of people…Then began the music career he so passionately breathes now…at 16 he was picked up by a local DJ and became his apprentice, learning the Asian DJ circuit, within 6months he had picked up and created his own sound and style of music which appealed to every crowd he played in front of, DJ Gurps had set a new trend, mixing urban beats with the up & coming Desi music that so many people enjoyed…..as time went on he learnt more & more and became better at what he had set his sights on doing.At the time a part of Mix & Blend, he had laid out his future plans, it was there that he decided he wanted to release his 1st album, from here the learning continued he became more aware of what styles of music there were and started to engineer and produce his own music……………Now after being in the Asian DJ Curcuit for almost 7 years and at the age of 22, Gurps is finally on his way to achieve what he had set out all those years ago, Now a part of the World Renowned Calibar Roadshow, he has set a mark for others to achieve with his distinctive style of play that can be heard up & down the country from the club circuit to private events, Gurps has played along side some of the industry’s biggest star’s which include the likes of Punjabi MC, Jazzy B, Sukshinder Shinda, Aman Hayer, DJ H, Lehmbar Hussainpuri, Raghav, Kray Twinz, Rishi Rich Project & these are just to name a few… He has also played alongside established urban acts such as 112, Sean Paul, Kanye West, Pharrell, and Timberland…Now Working on His Debut Album Gurps has set himself another goal, to walk away with the best newcomer award at the UKAma’s…. wether this will happen only time will tell, but one thing that is certain DJ Gurps will keep on setting new standards within the Asian DJ Curcuit.DJ Gurps Debut Album “Expectations†is due for Release early next year so watch out for the promos and launch parties.Dj Gurps music layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
