Anything by Jill Connor Browne, Laurie Notaro, Mary Karr, Barbara Kingsolver, Hunter S. Thompson, The Harry Potter books, A Confederacy of Dunces, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, folk tales and stories about strange southern places, memoirs and essays,and I like to read cookbooks!
