Lounging in bed, lounging in cafes, lounging in the park, arranging throw pillows on the subway...
Anyone who can propel my goals of, um, leisure.
I think I exist in a musical vacuum these days. Otherwise I get other people's songs in my head and can't make up my own. Before I had this problem I liked Old 97s, Jill Sobule, Schwervon!, Pantsuit, The Trouble Dolls, The Blue Van, The 22s, The Everyothers, Frou Frou and duh, The Domestics. I did have a poster of Jack Wagner up on my wall at some stage in my life though...oh, such sweet junior high fantasy fodder...
Anything previously viewed by the MST3000. Anything lacking Tom Cruise. Dorky documentaries about barracudas and spelling bees and that adorable Al Gore.
Like, totally addicted to The Daily Show. Loved Feaks and geeks so itchin' to get my hands on Undeclared DVD. Any more than than and I start to lose brain mass. Ok, and Project Runway. But that's it, I swear.
This could take a while... Here's what's currently on the nightstand: The Woman at Washington Zoo by Marjorie Williams V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd To Have and Have Not by Hemingway (ok, this one has been on the nightstand a looong time) Story of O (ah, the old classic)Also, obsessively waiting for the next George RR Martin fantasy installment cause I'm a big geek.
As Tina would say, "We don't need another hero."
