Founder member of KDD, French hip hop band formed in 1992, Tropical Tramp designed a musical uniqueness that gave this band a major label deal (Columbia Records). Then, back to his roots in Corsica, he spent time on meeting Dj’s and producers to improve and discover various styles of music productions. He worked with Oggiano G, Italian songwriter, who gave him the opportunity to mix new and different styles with his songs. They created a new concept together called LAVAGGI. The concept is to twist pop songs in an unexpected style. After some experimentation, they met many different music producers such as Charles SCHILLINGS (Deep house. Paris), Victor SIMONELLI (House/ Breakbeat. Roma/Brooklyn) and explored Downtempo and Breakbeat. Tropical Tramp stayed in a hotel room facing the Mediterranean for 4 years, only with instruments and computers, designing some sounds and widening his knowledge on producing Blaxsplotation, Electro, Nu soul, South Bronx and Dirty south. He produced many tracks with Oggiano.G for ARIA NOVA (Montera Music) and some other with J.FIGARELLI (Montera music). Then, he reunited with his old friends from KDD, DADOO who became a producer too (JOEY STARR, LADY LAISTEE) and DIESEL (KEISHA COLE). He moved to NYC where he did some tracks with DIESEL. Now he works as a sound designer in NYC for different companies, collaborates with many different musicians and gets involved with variety of projects.
