About Me

R Dub here--thanks for checking out my page. I'm originally from Chicago and have lived in Orlando, Florida and Tucson, Arizona. Today I live in Los Angeles, California and work for Hot 92.3FM .
I host a nationally syndicated Slow Jams and dedications show called Sunday Nite Slow Jams , that airs on over 40 radio stations in three countries.

1) I absolutely love music but don't know how to dance at all!
2) I speak PortuguÃªs
3) I'd pick a taco truck over a fancy restaurant anytime
4) I won't wear hats or sunglasses (I have funny shaped head!)
5) I really love Milli Vanilli and I don't care who knows
6) I have the habit of criticizing other people's choice of footwear
7) I like girls with big asses
8) I was school president in 5th grade...and got impeached!
9) I don't give a sh*t about brand names (I'm not materialistic)

My Interests

I am a work-a-holic, but in the little spare time I have, I enjoy just relaxing and kicking back, checking out a good movie, or going to a nice restaurant for some good food. In the spring and summer, the drop-top comes out of the garage, as I enjoy an afternoon cruise. And if I have a full day off, I'll gather up the homies for some tubing down the Gila River. Once a year I go to Brasil . Now that's my spot!

Obviously, I love Slow Jams. Other than that, I have pretty unique tastes. I love classic Brasilian Bossa-Nova, Electronica, Bossa Nova MIXED with Electronica, and classic standards and big band (Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, Mills Bros., etc.)

Television:

I don't have time for much TV, but two shows I don't miss are Nip Tuck and The Shield , both on FX. I also watch A&E on the way to bed--shows like Investigative Reports and Cold Case Files .
