AMPERE
This name is program, cause it designates never the less than the same as the unit for the amperage. And its exactly what is reflected in the sound of the berlin-based project in a compromiseless mixture of oldschool EBM/Industrial and electrotech.
Ampere, thats HellBoy, producer of many projects, and Indy Toureau, for over 11 years on the way as DJ for the german technomag partysan. Shaped by the dark synthiesounds of the 80's and early 90's their ways crossed at the end of of 2005 on a technoparty. HellBoy presented a liveact with one of his projects and indy played soon after as DJ and in such a way they recognized their affinity for the „dark side of dance music “…
Shortly after that, they worked some hours together in the studio and let first ideas become tracks…And they’re fitting perfect there: with HellBoys production skills and his perfection to arrange tracks, as well as Indys experience in the clubs and his dark vocals the base for future club hits is prepared…Just their first single “dial code EP†is played by many key-djs like the hacker, tom wax or john acquaviva and there where a lot of succesful remixes on labels like klang gymnastik, killabeat or karate. Soon there will be released the new EP “death star†on their own imprint suicide robot, but there’s still one fact: the future is right NOW!
