Silje Louise

I'm a 28 years old girl from Bergen, Norway, and I'm currently making my living as a music teacher and as a freelance singer. I try to use my voice and my music as a way to tell stories, define moments and "organize the mess inside my head".To quote ABBA: "Mother says I began to sing long before I could talk", and I just never stopped. I've had the opportunity to work with some great singers and musicans in my life and they have all inspired me and added some pixiedust into my life. Thank you!At the moment I work in several coverbands, like The Flying Dancing Kings, which is fun!! Groovy band, all hit songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's, all 6 members have matching suits and the crowd goes wild- EVERY time:) Siljekonval is my jazzquartet and we mostly play jazz from the 30's, 40's and 50's. I also sing in a Andrew Sisters cover band called "De andre søstrene" (The other sisters) together with two lovely girls and tree lovely guys. And I take whatever fun job that may come along; sometimes I end up in the weirdest places, meeting the strangest people. In some way curious situations come my way quite often.... Lucky me:) I still await the perfect time and band to come along to play my own music.
