Ils sont trois. Trois frères et encore… Il y a Coltrane, Soft Machine, Stravinsky, Radiohead, Björk, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, Pixies, Hancock… Leurs sources d’inspiration.

C’est une batterie en feu, sensuelle et animale menée de mains de maître par Xavier. C’est une contrebasse terrienne, jusqu’au-boutiste, harnachée dans les bras de Laurent. Et puis, il y a le piano, qui donne la réplique au Fender Rodhes et à l’orgue Hammond ; c’est liquide, instinctif, sous les doigts de Denis.

Pour la création, Denis jette les premières idées mélodiques. Xavier les malaxe, souvent les bouscule avec son audace alors que Laurent soude, assimile les énergies. Leur musique n’est pas un hasard, mais le fruit d’un accord à six mains. Pas de rivalité dans ce trio ; quinze ans que les frères jouent ensemble, quatre ans qu’ils se réalisent avec eol trio.

Avec eol trio, on entre dans une musique de sang-mêlé, un jazz ovni, substantiellement évolutif. La recherche, l’expérimentation sont le nerf, la force du groupe. Leur premier album “Mister K” en est la preuve et donne naissance à un jazz métisse empreint d’histoire et de modernité.

Dans l’arène jazz, on parle déjà d’eol trio comme d’un trio magique au son neuf et fertile. Consacrés Talents Jazz à Vienne (2004), finalistes du Tremplin Sunside et du Tremplin jazz Ile de France (2006), les trois frangins arpentent les plus belles scènes françaises. Ils n’ont pas fini de surprendre les plus initiés et de séduire les profanes. La suite… Une tournée dans toute la France et déjà la préparation d’un nouvel album.

eol trio se confirme comme étant la formation émergente de la nouvelle scène jazz. Un groupe à suivre, absolument !

They are three. Three brothers and yet… There are Coltrane, Soft Machine, Stravinsky, Radiohead, Björk, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, Eurythmics or Hancock, their sources of inspirations.

eol trio manufactures an eclectic jazz, authentic, intuitive.

There are drums on fire, sensual and animal played by a master’s hands, Xavier. It is an earhtly double bass, until-the-endist, harnessed in Laurent’s arms. And then, there is the piano, which gives the counterpart to the fender and the hammond organ, liquid, instinctive, under the fingers of Denis.

For the creation, Denis throws the first melodic ideas, Xavier mixes them or hustles them with his rhythm, his audacity, and Laurent welds, assimilates the energies.

eol trio produces a UFO jazz, substantially evolutionary. Research, experimentation are the nerve, the force of the group. Their first album prooves it.

Their music is not pure chance but the fruit of a six handed chord. Fifteen years that the brothers play together, four years that they are produced with eol trio and give rise to a mongrel jazz full of history and modernity.

eol trio mixes, fusionates, makes alliances with electro, amongst other things. The trip is electric, impressive and inspired.

In the jazz arena, one already speaks about eol trio as a magic trio with a new and fertile sound. Consacrated Jazz Talents in Vienne (F, 2004), finalists of the “Sunside Tremplin” and the “Tremplin jazz Ile de France” (2006), the three brothers attend the most beautiful French scenes. They have not finished surprising the most initiated and alluring the profanes. The continuation… a French and European Tour.
