Of course, when you are as sick as I am theres only one solution - see a Doctor!Surgery tonight is at the Kings Arms and patients are packed in leaving standing room only.Clouds of dry ice billow through the rays of UV and ghostly back projected images, suddenly the air is alive with cheers and whistles.The Doctors are simply the best band ever to set foot in the Kings Arms - every song is a classic. Granted, any song with a title like Johnny Rock and Roll should be naffer than the M & S jumper your gran bought you for Xmas, but this is a smoke screen. A clever ploy to disguise the genius hiding just below the surface. I repeat, every song is a classic! The most classic classic, a song called Madness which has to be heard to be believed. As the set progresses, the music changes pace with every turn. Briefly I forgot this was the Kings Arms Preston. I laugh when I realise I havent paid for this. In years to come Ill brag I saw this band before they made it!Feeling sick? Need a cure for the commercial shit they laughingly call Rock n Roll? Only one thing for it kid - see The Doctors!!!
