About Me

It all statered in a small suburban home in the middle of the wasteland that is Santa Rosa California. Two teenage burnouts by the name of Anthony Diedrich Boyd and Seth Mor MacDonald were spending a normal Saturday afternoon getting stoned and listening to Black Flag and Circle Jerks records when Seth gave the retort that began the journey: "Let's start a band man."
We formed a band called Thought Police that died a slow and extremely horrible death. fizzling out after the creation of only one terrible song defaming Goforth and a handful of practices full of shouting matches and empty promises. Soon Seth and Tony regrouped to form The Burnouts, another obnoxious pseudo-political stoner band that showed promise but eventually went nowhere.
Two years of brick walls in our path was getting frustrating, so we realized that it was time to get some more creative firepower. Enter Casey, who at first was only going to become our second lead singer, with the two of us belting out harmonies that, according to Casey, would have sounded like "Tony barking with a wicked yowl like Jello Biafra and me soothing the crowd with a sweet Glenn Danzig-esque baritone." However after getting back into guitar and jamming during downtime at the practices, he realized that the only way for him to die happy was to play rythem guitar in this band.
And so it was we recruited Aaron on bass and Alec as our little drummer boy. We soon realized that we played well together, and that we also needed a new basisst, as Aaron couldn't fit the band into his schedule. Darren was a good friend of ours, an immensly talented musician. He was from the Artquest poetry crowd, and he had even briefly been in the Burnouts, and was a part of one very unproductive practice in the video room. He was a natural choice as the last piece of the puzzle of a truely rockin band.
Five names, four basissts and dozens of hits of acid later, The Scurves have come to invade your homes, corupt your children and turn your whole community into a pack of ravenous clawing dope fiends who only want another fix of the band that gave them the disease. The Scurves are coming, watch your back.
