About Me

Softkey Left softkey Right

I write about true crime. I'm also an opera singer. The two pursuits are not as different as you might think.

*Sigh*...

Note: I know the profile song is the same one used on the OC, on Lost, and in the "Dear Sister" parody on SNL. It's a kickass song, and Imogen Heap is a brilliant musician.

Look for me on the Court TV special MyCase.com ( MyCaseDotCom.com ) airing November 7, 2007 at 10:30 p.m. ET. A clip from the show can be viewed below:

The following is probably the last online quiz I should ever take. And I almost always get this result when I take quizzes like this.

Which serial killer are you most like?
The Zodiac Killer
You two are so much alike, maybe you can tell us who this guy is. It's been decades since anyone heard anything from him. It's not really you is it?

Music:

My Realplayer lists contain everything from eminem to Vince Gill, with Hoobastank and Il Divo in between. I believe that's what's called eclectic.

Movies:

Capote, Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, Star Wars, The Harry Potter Movies, Toy Story, Shreks I & II, Monty Python

Television:

I'm a news junkie. And CSI. And most of the Law & Order shows, with a preference for "Criminal Intent," because I want to be Vincent D'Onofrio's character on that show in my next life.

Books:

There is not even enough time in the day to start this particular list -- I'd be writing forever, and that would be a waste of time.

Heroes:

I'm a dork, but my Dad, my Wife, who had our first child Maggie with no drugs, Ann Rule, because she is way-cool lady and became the best-selling crime writer in the world while being a single mom to 4, my ex-wife, and Jack Kerouac, because he was Jack Effing Kerouac, dammit.

Happy post-Apocalypse, y'all

I'm pissed. I woke up this morning and realized I'd missed judgement day. The sky wasn't purple, and people weren't running everywhere. There was no destruction to run from, and you know I didn't even...
