CHUNG

About Me

From the bottom of the north, still existing Noise-Rock-Whatever Group.
We do what we ever did. A transforming mixture of Spazz-Rock and good ignorance.
Founded in 1998 by Nic Neu, Jenne Kaphorn and Hanno Mewes after quitting their ex-bands Splitter and Party Diktator. The band’s name is influenced by an half-intelligent chip called "Chung-O-Chip"™ which was built into slotmachines in the late 1970’s. After exeeding the guaranteed win-rate of 101%, the machines were terminated off the market soon.
When Hanno left the band in 2000, we changed from a 2 guitar and drums lineup to a 4-piece with Timbot Blitzkrieg on bass and Wholehead on synths.
Another change happened when Timbot was replaced by Black Mzungu on bass.
We’re now working on our 3rd full-length LP. Good luck to us.
