About Me

Frederick "Ricky B." Burchell is a rapper/producer who uplifts the name of Jesus thru rap music. Not only is he a rapper and producer, but he is a youth minister at Abundant Life Christian Center in Murfreesboro TN. He released his first solo album The Calling on D-Fusion Music/ Broken Records in 1998. The Song “Stand Up 4 Tha Faith” reached ..1 for seven weeks on the Christian Rap Charts Joyful Noize. In the spring of 1999 he toured the Philippines, becoming the first Christian rap artist to tour that country. After his tour of the Philippines, he recorded his second album entitled The Fish-a-men under Kamikazee Records. Ricky B. has given his testimony in schools, national youth conferences and on radio stations. Ricky B. and his partner Terrance "4Given" Carlton also host a television show called Mix Master Lounge, which started airing in January of 2003 on Steelroots TV/INSP. Additionally they had the opportunity to open for Donnie McClurkin in 2001 and perform at the Holy Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, Georgia inn the winter of 2002. Ricky B. & 4Given has also received a Holy Hip Hop award, and was nominated by Urban Gospel Alliance for Best New Artists. Ricky B. & 4Given have released 2 CD's together (Somethin' U Ain't Heard B4, and Unstoppable) and will be release there third CD If God B4 Us in the winter of 2005.
