I’ve lived in Hallows Point since I was 8 years old. I like this small town, except of course, when it was being terrorized by Raber. But I think going through an experience like that made everyone in the town stronger. I know it made me appreciate the most important things in life – family and friends.
Except for the actual killer, Nathanial Raber, who was my Biology teacher, I didn’t know anyone personally who was murdered, but everyone in town seemed to share in the pain and sorrow. Afterwards, everyone was a lot friendlier to each other, sort of like what America experienced after the 9/11 attacks. I just hope everyone will remember these events and always treat each other with respect and dignity. After all, you never know which day will be your last.
During the summers and weekends, I help out in my Dad’s air conditioning business. I’m getting pretty good at fixing and installing all types of AC units. I plan to go to the local junior college, then eventually take over the business when my Dad retires. We’ve got a great reputation in town, and I see the business continuing to expand.
