Another important aspect of Tru-Ace’s music is ego, or the lack thereof. Tru-Ace has pride in accomplished music, of course, but that’s a bird of a different feather. Too often the hip-hop culture is wounded by out-of-control egos that put off listeners with aggressive pretensions.
