People. Of all shapes, sizes, colours and creeds. I'm Equal Opps like that.
Music:
This could be a long list :) I like all sorts of stuff from hardcore (eg Poison the well, Fall of Troy, Sikth, Refused, Montana, Shaped By Fate, pretty much anything on Ferret, Trustkill, Equal Vision etc) through beaty stuff (like DJ Shadow, Blockhead, RJD2 and the divine Cinematic Orchestra) to jazz (Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk). My life is an empty space waiting for a soundtrack. God, that sounds pretentious :) Oh, and I quite like my band too :)
Movies:
I like all sorts of stuff, I watch a lot of movies. I like good films, not of any particular genre, but they have to be well, good. Recent films that have floated my proverbial boat are: American Splendor, Oldboy, Tattoo, Anchorman, Serenity, The Proposition, A Bittersweet Life, Sin City, Dodgeball, The Cooler.... there's way too many to list here.
Television:
Don't actually watch much TV. Love the Simpsons, regard Futurama being cancelled as a tragedy. Also love CSI, Family Guy, Garth Mehrenghi's Darkplace, Coupling, The League Of Gentlemen, Black Books, Arrested Development, Curb your enthusiasm, Peep Show, Mighty Boosh, Brasseye etc. To my shame I actually find myself enjoying Desperate Housewives too. Well, the first series was good anyway. :)
Books:
Like two types of books, funny and grisly. With occasional crossovers. Particularly love the Alex Delaware series of books by Jonathan Kellerman, pretty much anything Tim Dorsey has written, and still have an attachment to Terry Pratchett from when I was a wee nipper. In terms of an all time favourite book... well, I don't think I have one. Although 1984 is probably a close contender. Or Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas. One of those. Probably.
Heroes:
Tough one this, got asked it in a job interview a few weeks ago. I'll have to have a think.
