Plazer is located in Chicagoland, but born in Texas and Tejanos at heart! Plazer is playing the best Tejano/Chicano sounds and keeping Tejano Music alive in the Midwest! Plazer is hitting the Midwest area with great original hits as well as some "Golden Oldies" like the Chicano Sounds of Latin Breed, Los Chachos, Jessy Serrata and Mazz have never been forgotten and Plazer is making sure of that Eddie Acevedo was born in Brownsville, Texas. He is owner, manager, bass player and vocalist for Plazer. He is a self-taught musician and begun playing the guitar at the age of seven years old. His first instrument was the guitar, then the bajo sexto came easy to him. Eddie has been in the music industry for over 40 years and has owned and managed his own bands ever since. His first Rock-n-Roll band was "Eddie and the Idols". He has also had "Los Magnificos 5", "Destino", "Brown Sugar" and now "Plazer". He has put Plazer Tejano Band together and formed an old school Chicano sound. Eddie took on the bass instrument and has found himself enjoying any of his instruments as long as he is playing tejano music!
