About Me

Records of Voztik was started by Mike Sharp, Kermit Sharp, Steve Adams and David Carpenter to release material by artists they feel deserve and need to be heard. These artists have something else to offer then many of the other musicians in the area. With the music being deeper, darker or flat out complex, it goes to prove that Voztik artists know how to play and enjoy music. Artists include Harvyst , Beyond Recognition and In Black Silence Harvyst, "the world's only industrial metal jam band," comes to us from Kalamazoo, MI. Creating a mix of haunting, atmospheric and flat out brutal jam style industrial metal, they set the bar very high for anyone attempting to try what this band has mastered. Harvyst is currently in work of their Records of Voztik debut, "Lysergency Resolute." Being recorded at Zypotic Studio in Kalamazoo it promises to be nothing less than incredible. For a taste of what these guys have to offer pick up the Winter EP through AcidVictim Records. Beyond Recognition got off the ground in March of 2004, and features David Carpenter in a acoustic guitar oriented rock group. With influences ranging from Days of the New to Alanis Morissette to Pantera, it was to be expected that although the songs feature acoustic guitars, some of them metal it up a bit. David has been busy engineering songs for the Louisville based project called 16 Bones. Following this project, David will finish work on his Voztik debut with "In Solitude's Arms." In Black Silence is a melodic death metal band heavily influenced by greats such as Amon Amarth, Hypocrisy, Arch Enemy and Testament. Featuring Myke Sharp on vocals and Matt "Thorn" Smith on guitar. In Black Silence offers a brutality that does not lose its soul. Currently they are at work on starting their debut demo while looking for live members to showcase the material on the road.Create or get your
