Sewn Shut is four guys hailing from Corpus Christi, TX bringing a unique style of agression to today's metal. Formed in 1999 by O.J. Landa (Drums),and Moses Gonzalez (Guitar). Sewn Shut began taking their music on the road playing all over the great state of Texas and also adding a couple of U.S. minitours to their belts.As the music progressed in 2005 two band members left and were replaced with Fernando Moreno (Bass) and Royce Lee (Vocals). With the addition of the two new members O.J. and Moses realized there was something special with this new blood in the band.Impressing many with their aggression and in your face live shows, they have been asked to share the stage with many local, regional, and national acts. These include Mastodon, Morbid Angel, Sixfeet Under, Today is the Day, Kataklysm and M.O.D. Just to name a few. Having released two demo's, "The Battered" (2000), self titled "Sewn Shut"(2002). Sewn Shut was quick to turn heads and receive great reviews from magazines, webzines and all sorts of critics from around the world.Sewn Shut is also fortunate to have their music be played on some radio stations in Brazil,England, France,Germany and a couple of other countries. Sewn Shut have also been a part of several compilation CD's one of which was the Nationally distributed Rotting Corpse Records C.D. Now getting ready to release their full length "All Is Hate" C.D. Sewn Shut is still working hard, not slowing down. but pushing their music and delivering that fire which they have continued to do all these years.Sewn Shut's new music will have more to offer then your typical metal band alot more!Finally as always, like their motto says, they will forever FORCE THE CHAOS.
