MISSISSIPPI TWISTER

About Me

Jeffery Williams is the real deal. Born and raised in rural South Mississippi, Jeffery's musical roots in blues and country music run as deep as the roots of the ancient live oak trees of his native state.Cutting his musical teeth in the Hattiesburg area in the seventies, Jeffery was involved in several very popular groups on the college and club scene in south Mississippi.Relocating to Jackson, and in 1999 to the Gulf Coast, Jeffery has performed with many notable performers, including a concert tour with Percy Sledge in the late eighties. The Road of life is a compilation of songs that Jeffery has written while on his travels down The Road of Life. Written from the heart, Jeffery sings of love, loss, dreaming, and heartache while keeping an edge of humor. Tastful smooth guitar passages swirl around his lyrics and define Jeffery as the Mississippi Twister. The song Slabbed, sums up Jeffery's view of life after being totally wiped out of house and home by Katrina.Referred to as Bodine by friends and fans alike, Jeffery wrote, arranged, produced, and played every instrument on all tracks of The Road of Life. Give this CD a listen. You are sure to find Jeffery's music an album to add to your collection to listen to time and again. This album is available online athttp://cdbaby.comI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
