Zoe (we love you Boey)

..My name is Zoe. I am SIX years old. When I grow up I want to be a rockstar/princess/fashion girl. I love music! I am a HUGE Ace Young fan. He's the greatest. I also love Kelly Clarkson, High School Musical, Gwen Stefani, and Hannah Montana.
My daddy is in the Army - he's a hero! He spends a lot of time away from us making sure our country stays free. He is in Iraq until sometime in 2009 and I miss him a lot.
I have a disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. To learn more you can visit www.fsma.org. SMA is a genetic neuromuscular disease that affects voluntary muscle control. It also makes me breathe a little different than other little kids. When I get a cough or cold, I have to use a bunch of machines to help make me better. It isn't fun, but I'm brave. I also have growth rods to help me sit up straight. I have surgery at Denver Children's Hospital every six months to help keep me growing straight.
I have a powerchair, but you can call it the Ace-mobile! When I met Ace that's what he called it because I have a few pictures of him on the back.
