Northeast Ohio/Death Metal

About Me

Blood Coven originally formed in late 1993 by Dann Saladin (guitar and vocals). In 1995 The Dark Harmonies demo was recorded with guitarist Dave Ingram and drummer Brian Kerr. Jason Woolard joined on bass guitar in late 1996 and this lineup recorded the "Ashes of an Autumn Burning" CD, which was released in 1998. The year 2000 saw a complete revamping of the lineup with the addition of Ryan Arter on drums. Over the next few years several members would come and go, during which the band's second full length CD, "...Of Blood and Battle" would be recorded with Jeff Charest on guitar and Chuck Smith on bass. In 2004 Tony B. replaced Jeff on guitar, and Steve Rolf joined as the new full time bass player. Blood Coven is currently scheduling shows and rehearsing material for a third full length CD.******************DISCOGRAPHY******************1993 Rehearsal demo 1994 'Midnight Offerings' compilation CD 1995 'Dark Harmonies' demo 1996 'No Frills' compilation CD 1997 'Serenade for the Bleeding' live demo 1998 'True Fucking Metal' live 7" EP 1998 'Ashes of an Autumn Burning' CD 1998 'Dead Forever' tribute to Motorhead CD 1999 'Hell Rules' tribute to Black Sabbath CD 1999 'Kiss of Death' tribute to Kiss CD 1999 'Red Star' tribute to Rush CD 1999 'Hell Bent for Metal' tribute to Judas Priest CD 2000 Promo CD 2003 Promo CD 2005 '....Of Blood and Battle' CD (forthcoming)
