A TIME CONFLICT WITH THE ACTRESS THAT WAS CASTED TO PERORM THE ROLE HAD DEVELOPED, SO I ASKED DEVIE IF SHE WANTED TO STEP IN THE OTHER ACTRESS PLACE. I FELT FROM MY FIRST MEETING DEVIE WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE FROM HER LOOK FOR A NOIR FILM THAT GOES INTO PRODUCTION IN THE SPRING OF '07. HAMMER BECAME MORE-LESS A SCREEN TEST TO SEE HOW MS. DAWL WOULD PERFORM IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. (THIS WAS HER FIRST FILM) AND TO FINE TUNE SOME EDIT TECH THAT I PLAN TO USE IN A PRODUCTION IN THE NEAR FUTURE. SHOT IN SIX HOURS, NO SCRIPT, TWO ACTORS AND ONE ADDITIONAL CREW PERSON BESIDES MYSELF. THE SOUND TRACK WAS CREATED FROM SCRATCH AND ALL WAS USED WAS HER DIALOG. AS OF THIS WRITING THE FILM IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR DISTRIBUTION IN EUROPE. ************************************************************ **************

The cut you see here was edited was done by me. The original "Strapped" video was edited by another editor. I have always liked this video original version. If so, why did I re-edited it. Over the years I have wanted to do something more with this video. The performance was with the band, but for me I wasn't to crazy with the edit. The file of the master edit and the tapes are long gone, so I work with the quicktime that came from the the depths of my archive. I choose to add clips from my short film Kilo. This song was to appear in the soundtrack of the film, but for reason it didn't make it. "Strapped" the only video shot for Atom Sane's album "Stable to Be" http://www.myspace.com/atomsanemusic I had just know the band a few weeks and we where just trying to figure each other out when we shot this in early September, 2001. Atom Sane at the time where Jason Boltz - Vocals (now in Vantucky Champs and Four Pound Jack), Larry Hardesty, - Guitar, Chad Ipox- Bass and Joe Gardener - Drums (now with Element 57).The video premiered at the Atom Sane Halloween Show. October 26, 2001 at Mt Tabor Pub and screened in various venues around Portland. A friend asked me if I was going to do the 48 hour Film Project. I told him no since I'm getting ready to shoot "Goodbye in two weeks. He said to me that its just as well since your a a perfectionist when it comes to your projects and 48 hour is really not enough time to make a film that is really worth looking at. Bullshit was my answer. I could do it in 24 with and I could do it by myself. (hence the title of the film). I had to stay within the guide lines of the 48 hour Film Project. A prop and a line of dialog. He selected a knife and the line was "did you wear a rubber." THE BIBLE ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ****************************** We all have to start somewhere. These films where shot when I was just starting the film thing. My only hand in the production was acting in them. Out of respect for the director I choose not to do any visual or audio corrections. THE LETTER

1996 - 16 mm. Written and directed by Tim Oberlander. I used my past experience as a funeral director for the art direction of the film. This film personally I enjoyed making. Digital cameras had just arrive so it was one of the last shorts that I acted in that was shot on film. THE INTERVIEW

1997 - 16 mm. Shot in a old office building in South East. I met several people that I would work with over the next several years on this film. We shot it in a day and it was on of the best shoots I've been on.
