I work in the mental health field,
I daily thank the powers that be for my level of independence,

I'm a strong, educated, independent woman that could probably beat some ass if I was into fighting... with this strength comes many levels of complex analysis and emotion, so if you're too pussy to hear about how someone really feels, move along and bother someone else that will accept your half-assed hookup attempts.

I am extremely aware that many of my views seem to conflict with one another, but if you listen closely, you may be able to see the thread that ties them all together.
For example:
I am a military girlfriend who HATES war.
I love my country but I am seriously concerned about the decisions our government has been putting into effect.
I know and believe that God is my sovereign, but I've been arguing with him/her since I was 5. Sometimes it's hard to remember the fact that I'm not s'posed to understand everything.
I am seriously attracted to all things intense - at least in a conceptual way, but I'm extremely aware that intensity creates situations that are difficult to balance. I love intensity, but I also crave the peace of doing nothing, thinking nothing, just being. There is no way I could appreciate one without the other.
I am a fixer - I try to prevent and help and fix - but I'm way better at doing for others than I am for myself.
COMPASSION IS MY GREATEST STRENGTH AND MY BIGGEST WEAKNESS..
I have a love/hate relationship with adrenaline - as a multitasking 'fixer' I couldn't survive without it, but I crash hard after the spurt.
I love to feel all dressed and made up but I hate the process of getting ready.
Oh! And I love to eat chocolate but I smell like vanilla...
