- ASK - Ricardo Phillips

Ricardo Phillips a.k.a. 'ASK' is a bajan-italian singer/songwriter, leader of the reggae band 'Amsterdam Street Knowledge' that started kickin' at the end of the last millennium, after five years spent playing music on the streets of Amsterdam!!!!
He has worked with a huge number of artists, producers and record labels, getting involved in different projects going from black music to electro. His artistic versatility led him to take part to the organization of a cycle of events called HipHop3000, opening and hosting the live shows of some of the best american and italian hiphop artists. He has also conceived and conduct the radio show “Black Hour Zone”, focused on the history of black music. Nuff respect!
Ricardo Phillips a.k.a.' ASK' è un cantante/produttore italo-caraibico che nasce come artista per le strade di Amsterdam, dove ha vissuto un’incredibile esperienza incrociando artisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo e da dove ha avuto inizio il progetto 'Amsterdam Street Knowledge'. Ha collaborato con un incredibile numero di artisti, produttori ed etichette discografiche, toccando progetti che vanno dalla black music all’elettronica. La sua versatilità in campo artistico gli ha permesso di aprire, presentare e far parte dell’organizzazione del ciclo di eventi di HipHop3000, che ha portato sui palchi del Link e dell’Estragon di Bologna alcuni tra gli artisti di culto del hip hop sia statunitense che italiano, ed inoltre a ideare e condurre il programma radiofonico “Black Hour Zone”, incentrato sulla black music dagli anni ’50 ad oggi.
