PALLADIUM

PALLADIUM has been formed at the end of March 2003, in Rostov-on-Don (Southern Russia).
The early stage of creativity has been concentrated in the field of heavy metal with some taste of alternative rock and traditional hard rock. Later a decision was accepted to complicate and rearrange all songs, add more thrashy rigidity and progressiveness.
After a long search of the singer, Lilia accepted the band, and that has finally affected style of music. Exactly in the spring of 2004 the first gig was lead. It has shown how much is the interest of community to this kind of music. Then were some other gigs in Rostov and a great performance on HardHammer VII open-air fest in Novokubansk.
Autumn of 2004 was hard. Band got serious troubles with members and was at the dangerous stage near destructing. But next spring of 2005 band reborn with new material. One song on enlgish and one instumental theme in prog-metal key ware added.
Band members became organizers of a biggest melodic metal fest in South Russia - Metallurgia Fest.
Again in the spring of 2006 band provided a great gig of own 3rd annirversary in Rostov. A lot of people visited that gig and got some surprizes. Next was a fest in Anapa at February 2006. Next, Metallurgia-2 was lead at May 2006. Palladium was co-headliner at this fest.
Later band visited Novorossiysk at NordOst metal fest. A great gig with well-known Moscow band ARDA was provided in September 2006. Next was gigs in Taganrog, great support for metal legend Catharsis in Philharmony and 4th annirversary gig at Podzemka club.Now we're ready for recording new songs and to be members of interesting gigs in Rostov and outside our city. Band invited to visit Moscow soon. Our music is just a native melodic metal with female voice and with some influences and additions like gothic rock, power metal, progressive metal, folk or even melodic death and thrash.
We plan to release our first album at early spring 2008. We have songs both on Russian and English.
