Naskar Nazarene is a stoner rock band out of PA that began in 2000 as a joke.4 musicians sitting around watching Nascar. Acting,dressing,and writing songs about the stereotypical over exaggerated idea of a wife beater wearing drunk.They put out their first album in 2001,entitled Women,Whiskey & Wheels.Being in character on stage with an album of songs to play,they started to catch some attention. A few years later Naskar turned into a trio.Dale Pabst, which was the bass player,also assumed responsibility of vocals.With Cooter Lowenbrau on guitar,and Butch Miller on drums,this made for the right ingredients to produce heavier and a more complex sound.In 2003 Heavy On The Sauce was released,and showed the bands progression,and their KYUSS influenced music.In 2005 Butch Miller set his drum sticks aside,and decided to join the Army,which was Noble,but left a hole in Naskar. Dale & Cooter had a guy in mind.That's when they brought in Dink Milwaukee.With his Matt Cameron/John Bonham influenced drumming,added a welcomed change to the bands sound.With 6 new songs,and more on the horizon,the future of Naskar is in the writing
