About Me

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com
The personal slides on this space are those of the mold/mycotoxins I am breathing in on a daily basis. My health is deteriorating as a result of mold in my home. I have a lung condition. My environment is making my condition worse. Just last week when the air conditioning was turned on in the building in which I live, my throat started to swell, leaving me with a whisper, and difficulty in breathing. The doctor's had told me a while back that one reaction greater than what I had all ready experienced could send me into shock.I've contacted every agency I can think of, Churches, Catholic Charities, Oprah (Producer), Montel Williams show, foundations, government agencies, sent out various emails to every TV station and news station possible. Everyone I could think of that may be able to help or offer a referral. No response. The answer I received from many of the agencies was, "We don't offer this type of help with the situation you are in." Even after I had explained the seriousness of not only my condition but that of many others in regards to health hazards of toxic mold, same response, no one would help or take my story. One response that I did receive last year was from Erin Brockovich. Ms. Brockovich had sent out a letter to the Board of Health in my city about the dangers of the existing conditions with mold, heat and humidity (inside apartments reaching over 100), and mice. Ms. Brockovich could only do so much do to the laws being different in our states. I appreciate her so much for doing this for not only me, but for all the other disabled and elderly persons that live in this building that towers 9 stories high.I made this myspace page to raise awareness. Read Marcie, Diane's and my story (three out of so many thousands across the states)that need your help, in my blog section. Marcie needs an infusion, without this she will die. Marcie had her last infusion Jan 2007, and the doctor's told her 15 - 18 months if she doesn't have another one. We don't know what is helping Marcie, except for her will to live and her being Blessed by God.These illnesses can be devastating if not deadly in some cases if let go untreated. Knowledge and recognition, diagnosis and treatment for all. Safer, healthier, happier, and more habitable housing.

My Interests

The banner above is a picture of the moldy debris (walls, etc) taken out of a room in the building that I live in. You will see other slides on myspace here, of what I breath in and what has made me very ill.Even though a pipe might have been fixed that had leaked, this does not mean you do not have mold. An expert can come in to wave his meter on your walls, say no moisture is being picked up, this does not mean there is no mold. If you had water intrusion prior and the right temperatures are there, the mold will grow. Moisture meters do not pick up the mold that may be hidden in your walls or other areas of your home, workplace, or school.MOLD CAN HIDE!!!Your house is a perfect place for mold to thrive and mold related allergy and illness can consume your entire life! A musty smell will let you know that mold has set-up house! Although sometimes you can't smell or see mold, it can grow on or in many things: HVAC system (central air/heat), crawl spaces, basements, tile, grout, wood, paint, plaster, and fabric, just to name a few places.Spores can be carried on your clothing!!!Slides of me after exposed by molds: i.e. oxygen and central air/heating system ducts with molds, and pictures of me before I became ill. Marcie McGovern from Texas is also in my slides. Marcie is another innocent amongst thousands of us that are literally fighting for our lives due to the illnesses caused from toxic molds/mycotoxins.Mycotoxins Mold ..
